🌿 Mosses and climate change: what does the future hold for these species?

To better understand how our laboratory is trying to answer this question, we realize three activities for Researchers’ Night, organised by Réjouisciences (ULiège) on the 25 September 2026.

To do so, we went out to collect mosses during the morning to provide organisms to discover the Lilliputian world. We also constructed a mountain to characterize microrefugia and developped figures to demonstrate how we predict species distribution based on environmental predictors.

On Friday evening, at Researchers’ Night, Léonie Guebel and I had the pleasure of sharing our research on mosses and their future in the face of climate change🌿

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to have a look, chat and ask questions. It’s always a pleasure to step out of the lab to share our passion and showcase research in a different light! ✨
