Participation to the MEB conference

From June 1st to 5th June, I had the pleasure of presenting my research at the third Microclimate, Ecology and Biogeography (MEB) conference in Montpellier. My study focused on the drivers of the buffering effect in mountains in order to identify areas with a stable microclimate. I also focused my research on alpine bryophytes, which are sensitive to fine microclimatic changes, in order to determine the role of the temperature and relative humidity microclimate in their presence.  

I was delighted to share my work with the MEB community, receive feedback, and explore collaboration opportunities. I learnt so much and met many inspiring and supportive people.

As an added bonus, I also had the opportunity to discover the Puechabon experimental site and the stunning Cirque de Navacelles site. On my first day on site, I also took the time to visit the charming city of Montpellier and the famous “Jardin des Plantes”!

I can’t wait for the next MEB conference!
